    Resident Budget Feedback Form 2021

  • As part of the annual budget development process the County conducts public budget workshops with the goal of receiving input from residents and the Board of Supervisors regarding countywide priorities. In addition to the budget workshops, this feedback form can be used to provide input into the County’s budget process.

The fiscal impacts of COVID-19 have been significant and have resulted in revenue shortfalls for county services. One-time state and federal funds have enabled the county to maintain critical service levels, but we are facing a long-term structural deficit that may require additional service reductions over the next five years.

Your feedback will help inform the FY 2021-22 budget process. This form will be available until April 30, 2021. The Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings in June as part of the final budget adoption process.

  • The County is facing a structural budget shortfall of $6.7 million next year and therefore the FY 2021-22 budget process will be focused on strategic one-time investments. As indicated by the 2019 Resident Survey, the community’s top five priorities are listed below. Please rank these priorities, with 1 being the highest priority and 5 being the lowest. Please select only one priority per column.
