  • Please review the Food Concessionaire Vendor Handbook for more information on how to complete this form and for Fair rules and regulations before proceeding. The Marin County Fair does not grant exclusivity for products, services, or exhibits. The final application deadline for Food Vendors is Sunday, February 16th, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

    Food Vendor selection and contracting will begin Monday, February 28th, 2025, for returning vendors and early applicants. THIS APPLICATION IS NOT A CONTRACT NOR A GUARANTEE FOR SPACE. Any questions on this application, please email Jennifer.

    Food Handlers (ServSafe) Certificate is required at the 2025 Marin County Fair. Food Handler certification is required by the State of California (Exceptions prepackages food and beverage carts). Certificates are available from ServSafe.

    Marin County Reusable Foodware Ordinance applies to all food concessionaires. Learn about the Reusable Foodware Ordinance.

  • Please upload a menu with pricing.


    Your proposed menu must include size of portion for each item and prices need to include 9.25% sales tax. Fair retains the sales tax and remits it to the State Board of Equalization for all food concessions. The menu page must include the size of the portion and must include prices. Fair management will approve menu items. Once approved, the menu cannot be altered or changed by the Concessionaire prior to or during the Fair.

    Healthy Food Choice Menu Item (Requirement for all Food Vendors) See the Nutrition Analyzer for a Nutrition Calculator and additional information.  

    All vendors are required to have at least one Healthy Food choice but please list more choices if you have them. Healthy Food choices are subject to approval from our Health Initiative Coordinator.

    Vendors will not be allowed to open for business without an approved healthy food choice. Water is not considered a healthy food item.

  • Nutrition Facts: please provide a copy of the nutrition facts for each item from food packaging.

    The attachment should list the following for each item in the menu:

    • Sodium (mg/%DV)

  • The Marin County Fair will not accommodate concessionaires prior to Saturday, June 28th 8:00 AM without prior approval. A date and time will be confirmed with the Concessionaire; preferred dates and time are not guaranteed.

    All property belonging to concessionaires must be removed by 5:00 P.M. on July 7.

  • Overnight Vehicles

    The Marin County Fair has limited space for overnight parking for recreational vehicles, campers and storage trailers. Vehicle amounts will require final approval from the Concessions Manager.

    Location A Overnight Parking - Fee $180 per vehicle

    Dry Parking ONLY. Vans, storage trucks, pickup trucks, self-contained campers or RVs parked overnight in the dirt lot behind the Exhibit Hall parking lot. No electrical service, water, sewage provided. Limited availability.

  • Location B Overnight Parking - Fee $230 per vehicle


    Vehicles needing electrical service - refrigerator trucks, food storage vehicles, and stock trucks or vehicles will have precedence for parking in Location B. Priority for campers & Rv’s.

    Limited Electrical is available.

    Please complete information below for all vehicles that require parking and electrical service. Service will be limited to each vendor in accordance with electrical service available. Vendor will be advised pre-Fair regarding assigned space and electrical service available. All gray waste or sewage must be self-contained and is not allowed to be dumped at or on the Fairgrounds.

  • Insurance


    All Vendors are required to provide proof of General Liability Insurance with an endorsement page naming County of Marin & The Marin Center. Proof of insurance is due within 10 days of receipt of contract unless you purchase CFSA insurance from the Marin County Fair directly.

  • Fee instructions included with acceptance letter.

  • Workers' Compensation

    Vendors with W2 employees staffing their booth (employees on payroll vs. contracted), must provide a copy of Workers' Compensation Insurance. Proof of insurance will be due within 10 days of receipt of contract.

  • Amplified Sound at Booth

    Sound-producing equipment may not be used without prior approval.

  • Credit Card Machines


    Each vendor is required to accept credit and debit cards as form of payment. Vendors must supply their own machines. Please note credit/debit sales are deposited directly into your bank accounts. These sales must be input into your cash registers as credit card sales. These sales will be reconciled as part of your gross sales at the end of the fair.
